Early Beginnings

At an early age, Fagun started acting in her local theatres in her home town of Leicester. A straight ‘A’ student, Fagun also studied several particularly challenging disciplines at the same time – so much so that Fagun’s exceptional educational experience was featured in an ITV News segment in the UK and she was spotted by a film director. After auditioning she was cast in her first film ‘Brick Lane’. Fagun also competed against thousands of contestants to win BBC’s ‘Bolly Idol’, a nationwide search for fresh acting talent.

Classical Training and Theatre Credits

After University, Fagun trained at the world-class Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in classical and contemporary acting. She then began acting on the West End stage in London, performing in a variety of plays spanning a wide chronological and stylistic range, from classical Shakespearean dramas including “Antony and Cleopatra” and “Romeo and Juliet”, to Chekhov’s “The Seagull” and Marber’s “After Miss Julie”, all the way up to state-of-the-art contemporary theatre. Fagun showcased a profound range of emotions and characters.

Fagun’s film credits include leading roles and supporting roles in British, Hollywood and Indian cinema. In film, Fagun has played both leading and supporting roles across British, Hollywood, and Indian cinema. Fagun has starred in Bhopal A Prayer For Rain’, she portrayed Rekha, a character intricately woven into the narrative of the tragic Bhopal disaster. Her role as Rose in ‘Searching’ took audiences on an emotional journey, while her portrayal of Zohra in the period drama ‘Zohra’ captivated viewers with its heartfelt storytelling. Her character Audrey Winter in ‘Winter Love’ is yet another testament to her acting prowess.

Fagun’s talents also extend to the world of commercials, where she has been a face for international brands like Vodafone, IBM, and L’Oreal, across continents.
